It's funny isn't it. The second your child goes to sleep on you, any anger or worries melt away. You forget what a horror they can be and your eyes fill with tears as your love for them overwhelms you. You examine every inch of their peacefully sleeping face, tenderly brush stray hairs back in to place, marvel that you created such a perfect thing and vow to do all you can to make sure they're happy and healthy, spend as much time being the best parent you can be to them.
Then they stir, whimpering softly,
And then you think 'sh*t don't f***king wake up I just want 5 minutes peace and quiet!'
Or is that just me?!
